Atheist Student Alliance

Welcome

The Atheist Student Alliance (ASA) is a student organization at the University of South Florida with the purpose of promoting fellowship and understanding among our members and the USF community.

What goals are we working towards?

Why does atheism matter to us?

Who have we elected as ASA officers?

To promote an understanding of atheists on campus.
To provide an open forum in which to discuss ideas in a non-hostile environment.
To promote fellowship and camaraderie between our members and the campus as a whole.
Because many atheists encounter prejudice, misunderstandings and stereotypes, and we feel it is vital to be known instead for who we really are.
Because we wish to remain above the influence of groups that spend millions to promote dubious religious claims.
Because integrity demands that we be honest with ourselves and others.
